Baanchang Elephant Park

Baanchang Elephant Park states that it is dedicated to offering rescued elephants the best care possible and allows visitors to come and see these beautiful creatures in their park.

Visitors to Bannchang Elephant Park can come for 1, 2 or 3 days as there are a number of tours offered. This sanctuary rescues elephants from unsuitable living conditions such as circuses, and illegal logging camps. This park allows bare back riding. Those wanting to visit a park that does not allow riding should visit the Elephant Nature Park instead.

The tours offer pickup from your hotel at around 6.30am or 8.30am (depending on the tour chosen) and return to your hotel at 2.30pm or 4.30pm. If you are staying for multiple days, your tour will include overnight accommodation. After pickup, you will be taken for a 50 minute drive through the countryside out toe the park.

Shorter tours will offer feeding, bathing and walking with an elephant.

You will also be provided with lunch as part of your tour. You should make sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, camera, insect repellent, a towel, thongs/sandals and a change of clothing if you plan to get wet with the elephants.
