The Chiang Rai Night Market is located near the bus station and can easily be accessed by walking to the centre of town. It is located just a short 5-minute walk from the famous clock-tower.The night market sells a huge range of handcrafted items as well as bags, silver, jewellery, clothing, shoes as well as many items embroidered by the northern hill-tribes. Bartering at this market is advised, as all prices are negotiable. Make sure to barter with a smile though, as Thai people respond better to negotiation with a smile.
