Segway Gibbon Tour

A Segway Gibbon Tour is a great way to discover Chiang Mai as you zoom around the streets of this historic city on a self-balancing personal transporter.

A Segway Tour will take you to the many highlights within Chiang Mai including historic temples, the city wall and beautiful gardens.

Those using a segway for the first time will be given a 15 minute training session on how to operate the machine including balancing, turning and braking. Riders are required to wear a helmet on the tour for safety reasons, and it is also best to wear closed toe shoes where possible. Kids are also able to ride a segway if they weigh at least 40kgs and adults must weigh less than 113kgs. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

Each of the tours last for around 2 hours and during this time, your experienced guide will take you past many of Chiang Mai’s prime attractions including markets, restaurants, temples all whilst learning about the history of the city from your guide. The tours vary depending on traffic and weather conditions, but often include landmarks such as the Kings Monument, Wat Chiang Man, Tha Pae Gate, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Pan Tao.
