Pam Bok Waterfall

Pam Bok Waterfall is located only a short distance from Pai and is one of the most popular attractions to enjoy whilst you are in Pai.

The falls are easily accessible by scooter and is located near to the Pai Land Split, so make sure to check out both attractions on the same day.

Pam Bok Waterfall Location & Getting there from Pai, Thailand

To get to Pam Bok Waterfall, take the road south from Pai that leads to marker 93. At this point, you should be able to identify signage that leads to Ban Pam Klang where you will take a right turn. Drive on for about 8kms and you will spot the falls on your right, just a short distance from Pam Bok Village and after the attraction known as the Land Split.

On arrival, you can park your scooter at the bay close to the track. You will then need to walk just a short distance to access a narrow track that leads up to a jutting cliff. Some tourists opt to slide down the rock formations, but this activity is unregulated, unsupervised and can be very dangerous.

Instead, you may wish to take a dip in the pool at the base of the falls. The rocks can be slippery getting in and out of the water, so be very careful. Less crowded than Mo Paeng, Pam Bok Waterfall is a great place to visit during your next trip to Pai.

The best time to go is during the rainy season from July to November as the pools will be at their fullest. Try to avoid visiting during the dry season in March-May as there may only be a trickle of water.
